English Academic Passport (ภาษาอังกฤษแนววิชาการเพื่อการศึกษาต่อ)

The English Academic Passport courses are designed to prepare students to study in institutions where English is the language of instruction. Students who successfully complete an Upper Intermediate, Advanced or Advanced Plus course can go straight into university studies and are not required to complete any other formal English language tests such as IELTS or TOEFL.*

RMIT English Worldwide's teaching approach focuses on communicative teaching methodology. We believe the most effective way of teaching English is not only to facilitate student learning while they are with us, but also to help them develop the independent learning skills they need to keep learning after they leave. Through a student-centred, teacher-facilitated approach, we provide the language, support and opportunities to help students become successful, autonomous learners of English.

หลักสูตร Academic ของ RMIT English Worldwide เป็นหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษในระดับสูง เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมในทุกๆด้านของผู้เรียนในการเข้าศึกษาต่อภาคภาษาอังกฤษในมหาวิทยาลัยเมืองไทย หรือเพื่อการไปศึกษาต่อต่างประเทศ แนวการสอนของ RMIT English Worldwide มุ่งเน้นการเรียนการสอนที่ผสมผสานพร้อมกันไปทุกทักษะ ทั้งฟัง พูด อ่าน เขียน โดยการเชื่อมผ่านหลักสูตรและอุปกรณ์การเรียนการสอนที่มีการพัฒนามาอย่างต่อเนื่องโดยมืออาชีพและเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล

สถาบันตระหนักอยู่เสมอว่า วิธีการสอนภาษาอังกฤษให้มีประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผล ไม่ใช่แค่การสนับสนุนหรือการกระตุ้นตัวผู้เรียนในระหว่างที่เรียนอยู่กับเราเท่านั้น เราต้องคำนึงถึงและช่วยพัฒนาตัวผู้เรียนให้เกิดทักษะการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง ซึ่งนับเป็นทักษะจำเป็นอย่างหนึ่ง ที่นักเรียนจะได้ติดตัวไปหลังจากจบการเรียนกับทางสถาบัน เพื่อใช้ต่อยอดทางการเรียนในอนาคต ดังนั้นแนวทางการสอนของสถาบันจึงคำนึงถึงผู้เรียนเป็นหลัก และจากเหตุผลดังกล่าวการเรียนการสอนของเราจึงผสมผสานทั้งด้านตัวเนื้อหาด้านภาษา ด้านการสนับสนุนและการหยิบยื่นโอกาสที่จะช่วยให้ผู้เรียนได้เป็นผู้ประสบความสำเร็จในการเรียน และยังเป็นผู้ที่สามารถเรียนรู้และพัฒนาต่อยอดการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษด้วยตนเองอีกด้วย

ทั้งนี้หลักสูตรนี้ยังได้เสริมเนื้อหาของแต่ละสาขาวิชาในการเรียนการสอนในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อช่วยสร้างความคุ้นเคยให้กับผู้เรียนอีกด้วย นอกจากนี้ ผู้ที่จบจากหลักสูตรนี้จะได้รับสิทธิพิเศษเข้าศึกษาต่อที่มหาวิทยาลัย RMIT และสถาบันอื่นๆ อาทิ Le Cordon Bleu, New Zealand และ William Angliss Institute, Melbourne โดยไม่ต้องยื่นคะแนนสอบ IELTS หรือ TOEFL
