RMIT English Worldwide’s Academic English program is designed for students concurrently studying at university or for those who would like to improve their academic skills before studying an international programme or abroad.
The Program Supports students in academic contexts in the skill areas of Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Language, and Research and Study skills. In addition, it emphasizes developing skills in critical and analytical thinking. Tutorial participation, writing, lecture listening and note taking, article analysis, research procedures, oral presentations, expressing opinion, independent learning and active participation in academic environments are all covered in this series of courses.
There are three Academic English courses that students can join based on their placement test level. Each of these courses is further divided into Modules that can be completed in 50 hours.

นอกจากนี้ หลักสูตรยังมุ่งเน้นในการพัฒนาทักษะเชิงบูรณาการให้ผู้เรียน อาทิ ทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ ทักษะการมีส่วนร่วมในชั้นเรียน การค้นคว้าหาข้อมูลด้วยตัวเอง การฟังเลคเชอร์และการจดบันทึกใน หัวข้อบรรยายต่างๆ เรียนรู้กระบวนการทำวิจัย การนำเสนอหน้าชั้นเรียน การแสดงความคิดเห็น การเรียนด้วยตัวเอง และการมีส่วนร่วมในบรรยากาศการเรียนวิชาการระดับสูง
หลักสูตรได้ถูกแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ระดับ (High Intermediate or higher – Advanced Plus or higher) ทั้งนี้ขึ้นอยู่กับผลสอบวัดระดับของผู้เรียน โดยในแต่ละระดับจะถูกแบ่งออกเป็น 3 คอร์ส Module มีระยะเวลาเรียนคอร์สละ 50 ชั่วโมง
